The BCASBO AGM and Conference will take place from May 23 to 25 in Penticton.  The conference will feature two exciting keynote speakers on our theme of "Leading with Trust and Respect".  As we improve the learning environment for our students, it is key that we have a workplace that is based on trust and respect.  We can all learn the tools to build trust.

There will be three pre-conference sessions:

• Business Ethics (which will count for your CPA credits) - Mike McKay
• Meetings, Rules and Effective Decision Making - Eli Mina
• Payroll and Benefits

Also, we welcome vendor exhibits and workshops to our conference in a new East Ballroom at the Lakeside Resort.

Our Speakers:

Lea Brovedani is a Professional Speaker, Author,
 Master Trainer and a coach who specializes in 
building and rebuilding trust. She is author of
 TRUSTED – A Leader’s Lesson and the e-book 
“Rebuilding Trust” as well as a contributing author 
for Trust Across America, Trust Around the World 
“Trust Inc. – A Guide for Boards & C-Suites”. She was 
awarded Trust Across America 2017  Top Thought Leaders in Trust.

She has been interviewed and quoted by CBS in New York and radio shows across North America. After taking time off to raise her family, Lea went back to work as HR Manager for a call center overseeing a staff of 140. Juggling a young family, university and a demanding career, Lea made a decision to write her Practicum in Adult Education around teaching the skills of emotional intelligence and became interested in how E.I. affects our trust. Lea has trained leaders around the world: in the Arctic, India, Dubai, Canada, USA, Europe, Singapore, Africa, and Indonesia.
