Thank you to everyone who joined us for the BCASBO 2026 AGM & Conference at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. This year’s conference brought together school business officials, partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and sector leaders from across British Columbia for three days of learning, connection, collaboration, and celebration.
We are grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s event and helped make the conference such a meaningful opportunity to connect as a community.
Conference Highlights
The 2026 BCASBO AGM & Conference brought together members, partners, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and guests for three days of professional learning, Association business, networking, and connection at the Penticton Lakeside Resort.
Guided by the theme Connected by Purpose, this year’s program highlighted the shared work of school business officials across BC and the important role they play in supporting student learning. The conference opened with an Indigenous Blessing, Welcome and Okanagan Song, followed by plenary sessions focused on Truth and Reconciliation, leadership, meaning, and team connection.
Throughout the conference, attendees participated in keynote sessions, the 68th Annual General Meeting, functional area breakfasts, breakout sessions, sponsor and exhibitor engagement, and opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the province. Session topics included artificial intelligence, cyber security, privacy and records management, finance, human resources, payroll, risk management, board procedures, workplace investigations, and legal considerations.
The event also provided an opportunity to recognize BCASBO’s Executive, past presidents, life members, fraternal guests, sponsors, exhibitors, and the many individuals who contributed to the success of the conference.
